Casey and Matt are Married! Butler Wedding Photography

Congratulations to Casey and Matt! You two have been such a sweet and fun couple to work with and your wedding day was no different. This wedding is bittersweet for me because it is the last wedding of the season. And with the close of this season, I’ll be shifting my focus to newborn and children’s portraiture. So while it’s been a thrilling 6 years of photographing weddings, I couldn’t think of a better way to go out with a bang! And the super-talented Melanie Grady was with me and we had a wonderful day shooting this beautiful wedding. So if you’re reading this and looking for a wedding photographer, Melanie would be a great one to call.

Ok, on to the good stuff. We started with Casey getting ready in her room at the hotel, Days Inn Butler.

And then we met up with the guys, who were already ready with a fun surprise!

I love this idea of the guys wearing superhero T-shirts under their tuxes. It’s so playful and made these portraits so much fun. Also, Casey and Matt exchanged gifts before the ceremony. They’re so thoughtful! And on to St. Paul’s, a beautiful Catholic church in downtown Butler.

We did a few photos downtown before leaving for a nearby park. I am a sucker for street scenes and I adore this first shot. Casey and Matt even posed with the plywood Jeep cutout that was leaning against a building on the main street. It was kind of quirky and I’m so glad they were open to that.

And off to the Days Inn Crystal Ballroom, a newly renovated ballroom which really sparkled for Casey and Matt’s reception.

Casey and Matt, working with couples like you has made photographing weddings so enjoyable. Thank you so much for having us as a part of your wedding and God bless you and your marriage!
