Need your headshot right away?  No problem.  Our Cranberry Township studio is easy to get to from I-79.  At Captivating Imagery, we prioritize headshots and block off time in our calendar to allow for a quick 2-day turnaround and offer a next-day rush service as well.

Our sessions are mainly determined by length and the number of retouched files included.  All headshots include traditional studio lighting and your choice of backdrop.

The Executive Headshot session includes both studio lighting and natural light headshots during the peak natural light in-studio (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.) and the Branding Session takes place in the studio and on-location photography to capture you in settings related to your brand.

Authentic Expression

Your headshot should be uniquely yours.  We want to learn about what you do and the message you want to convey.  And we will work with you to create headshots that reflect your character and confidence.  We offer natural light as well as studio lighting and have a variety of backdrops you can choose from.  Bring a second outfit for a different look.  We have a dressing room stocked with hair spray, bobby pins, combs, fashion tape and a lint roller.

Painless Experience

We also make the process easy and painless.  Our professionalism and comfortable studio setting make for a surprisingly pleasant experience!  You can see your images throughout the session as we photograph tethered to a laptop.  This can be helpful in making sure you’re getting the results you want.

Our Process

In six simple steps

1: Call/Email/Text

If you have questions and are unsure about booking, please call or email so we can take time to learn about what you’re envisioning as well as answer any questions you might have. My phone number is 412-427-8371 or if you prefer email, please fill out my contact form and I’ll be in touch soon.

2: Book Your Session

When you decide you’re ready to get started, please choose a date and complete the online booking. We’ll follow up with a welcome email, detailing everything you need to know!

3: Photoshoot Day

Plan to arrive to the studio or the designated location 10 minutes prior to your session.

We’ll work together to create something beautiful.

4: Proofing

Following your session, you’re welcome to make your selections for retouching or, we can email you a proofing gallery so that you can decide later. We’ll send your proofing gallery the next day so you can choose the images to be retouched.

7: Retouched Files Delivered

Retouched selections are emailed in a downloadable gallery. Please check the turnaround below as it differs for each session. If you have a pressing deadline, please let us know at the session!

8: Feel Confident About Your Headshot

15-Minute Headshot Session

$175

  • 15 minute session at our Cranberry Photo Studio
  • Studio lighting and backdrop
  • On-site proofing or emailed gallery of 15 images
  • Includes your choice of 1 high-resolution, retouched digital file
  • 2-day retouched file delivery from the date of your selection

30-Minute Headshot Session

$300

  • 30 minute session at our Cranberry Photo Studio
  • Studio lighting and backdrop
  • Up to three different looks (lighting, background, wardrobe)
  • On-site proofing or emailed gallery of 30 images
  • Includes your choice of 3 high-resolution, retouched digital files
  • 2-day retouched file delivery from the date of your selection

1-Hour Executive Session

$500

  • 1-hour session at our Cranberry Photo Studio during peak natural light (10 a.m. – 2 p.m.)
  • Natural light portraits
  • Studio lighting and backdrop
  • Up to five different looks (lighting, background, wardrobe)
  • On-site proofing or emailed gallery of 60 images
  • Includes your choice of 5 high-resolution, retouched digital files
  • 2-day retouched file delivery from the date of your selection

Branding Session

$600

  • 2-hour session at our Cranberry Photo Studio or on-location
  • Proofing gallery of 60 images
  • Up to 6 different looks (lighting set-up, wardrobe)
  • Includes your choice of 10 high-resolution, retouched digital files
  • 2-day retouched file delivery from the date of your selection
  • Travel fee applicable for sessions beyond 30-minute radius of Captivating Imagery’s office in Cranberry, PA

Additional Retouched Files

$55

  • Additional retouched files are $55 each

Rush Fee

We realize there are situations that require a faster turnaround. While editing and retouching are provided in the order received, we can work additional hours to provide a faster turnaround.  Our rush fee of $150 guarantees next-day retouched files (from the date of making your selections).  If a retouched file is needed right away, please make your selection before leaving the studio.

Hair and Makeup

$200

  • If you’d like to schedule for hair and makeup at the studio before your session, please let us know, we’re happy to make arrangements

Meet the Photographer

Kate Miller has been photographing headshots in Pittsburgh for 17 years and has had her own studio in Cranberry for three years.  During her free time, she enjoys trying new recipes, walking her Sheepadoodle, and going on adventures with her family.
