Wedding at Ingomar United Methodist and Greystone Fields

Alex and Jon were married two Saturdays ago at Ingomar United Methodist Church with a reception at Greystone Fields in Gibsonia, Pa. This fun-loving couple planned a lovely day and enjoyed it to the fullest. I started with Jon and the guys and while they were very hesitant to have a female with a camera in the room, it didn’t take long for them to get comfortable and ham it up. Jon’s best man is just outside the frame on this one, egging him on. When guys can have fun like that it really sets the tone for a great day.

Meanwhile, Alex and the ladies were busy bees perfecting the finishing touches.

I love these shoes. They’re so my style. Just not my size…

Cute shoes

Here’s Alex looking gorgeous at her dining room table. Alex and Jon just recently bought their first home and they did a fabulous job decorating and furnishing it.

I love the emotion in this one. This is the most powerful moment of the day.

Walking down the aisle

This is another favorite moment for me in ceremonies in general. Although, when I think about it, my husband and I didn’t have any kneeling in our ceremony. I really appreciate the symbolism in it though.

They made it—now onto the fun!

We stopped at Pittsburgh North Golf Club on the way to Greystone Fields for portraits of the bridal party. Thanks to the course manager for accommodating us with such lovely scenery!

So in love

I like to spend the majority of my time with the bride and groom during the creative portrait session. This is what sweet looks like.

Smooches

This serious portrait is a favorite. They don’t all have to have big smiles.

Seriously

The details at the reception were fantastic. They had a love bird theme and this cake really caught my eye.

They just cut the cake and that’s when this passionate kiss happened!

Their favors were a personalized note card made of natural paper with seeds in it and a little aluminum birdie to hold it up.

Table setting

It’s so nice to see a couple enjoying their first dance.

This is the end of the night and they look just as stunning as they did at the beginning of the day.

Outside of the reception

Alex and Jon, many blessings to you and your marriage! And thanks for the opportunity to be a part of your day!
