I don’t know many people who enjoy laundry, so I’m not sure about the kind of response this upcoming themed photo shoot will generate.  But I do know a lot of people who have been touched by cancer.  And I really love the work of Relay for Life and am so excited to partner with their local chapter here in Cranberry!

Photographing the Whole Family: Extended Family Portraits

I’ve noticed a bit of a trend toward large family portraits this year. It must be related to families being apart during the pandemic. And these families have inspired me to capture our extended family as well. It is so meaningful to see everyone together, especially after these past two years.

Photographing Safely in a Pandemic: Maternity Through First Birthday Sessions

One of my favorite things about being a family photographer is getting to photograph a family through the milestones. It is so much fun to see a family grow and help them to capture that growth. I first met this family for their maternity and newborn sessions. And last month, we got to document their daughter’s first birthday. It was a bit mind-blowing for me to realize that all happened during this pandemic. But these are the good things that make me so thankful that I can work and keep my clients safe.
