Pittsburgh Senior Portraits: Fun in the City

We had lots of fun with this senior’s portrait session on a very cold day in Pittsburgh.  I think it was 7 degrees that morning, so while we had discussed photographing her running on a trail, we decided to improvise and find a way to capture this track star indoors!

Looking Back on 2021 with Gratitude

Last year this time, I was tentatively preparing for a big switch to full service sessions, with an emphasis on creating tangible artwork for my clients and no longer selling digital files.  I could see the benefit in serving my clients by providing a complete experience from planning through delivery of artwork.  But my timing of making this transition after the shut-down in 2020 required a lot of faith.  Was this a good move, or would I hear crickets?!?

Fall Wedding at Oak Lodge

Here’s a Fall wedding full of warmth to cheer you on this dreary December day.  And it’s at one of my favorite venues, Oak Lodge, in Donegal, Pa.  I’m happy to be one of their preferred vendors, so I get to go there often.  I’m sharing some of my favorite shots from their portraits after the ceremony and I gotta say, I love this bride’s style!

Pittsburgh Newborn Session: Gifting A Session

This recent session was a gift from a mom to her daughter and son-in-law and I love the thoughtfulness from this new grandma.  She’s giving her daughter’s family the opportunity to capture the sweetness of this precious, fleeting time.  And it’s a gift that she’ll probably enjoy just as much as her daughter!

Pittsburgh Senior Portraits: North Park

It’s so much fun getting to know my clients throughout the shoot and I often walk away feeling like I have a new friend. Though, I do realize I am just a friendly lady with a camera who is helping to document this special time in her life. But it really is fun spending an hour getting to know someone and capture their portrait!
