I just met this sweet boy for the first time during his photo shoot and it seemed to me that he was having the time of his life! His parents tickled him and he giggled. And I think his parents were also tickled with his adorably enthusiastic response to being photographed.
Last month, I got to photograph a few family sessions at a gorgeous sunflower field in Grove City, Pa. And I just heard there’s one more sunflower field about to bloom this season! Over the past few weeks, I’ve been so blessed to see a long-time dream come to life: I’m opening a Cranberry photography studio.
Over the next week or so, I’ll be updating my portfolio with images from 2021, but for now, I am excited to share my new home page slideshow featuring artwork I’ve created for my clients. My desire to help families preserve their photography is a response to a growing concern that I’ve heard echoed over the past decade: organizing and printing digital photos is overwhelming. That overwhelm leads to procrastination and then procrastination to an underlying anxiousness that we won’t be able to find our photos when we finally have time to do something with them.
I’ve noticed a bit of a trend toward large family portraits this year. It must be related to families being apart during the pandemic. And these families have inspired me to capture our extended family as well. It is so meaningful to see everyone together, especially after these past two years.
