Sneak Peek: Pittsburgh Wedding Photographers at Betsy’s Barn in Portersville, Pa.

Congratulations to Samantha and Chris! They were married at Betsy’s Barn last Saturday and it was a fabulous day. The ceremony and reception took place at the barn and we only left for a quick trip to McConnells Mill State Park for photos after the ceremony. The surroundings and weather that day was just beautiful and I can’t say enough about how fun it was to work with Samantha and Chris. You guys rock!

Here are some favorites from their day:

These flower girls were adorable and the youngest was hamming it up during the ceremony.

This one is from a quick stop at McConnells Mill. It’s just lovely there in the shade – especially on such a hot day!

I love it when couples can take a few minutes to sneak away after dinner for some sunset and nighttime shots. It’s so worth it if you can find the time. More to come from Samantha and Chris’ wedding soon. Next up, more details on Sara and Luke’s wedding.

Sneak Peek: Pittsburgh Wedding Photographers at Green Gables in Jennerstown, Pa.

Sara and Luke are college sweethearts—from rival schools. And I speculate that the friendly rivalry they share as a result of their alma maters is one of the ways they developed a sweet and infectious playfulness that makes them so fun to be around. They were married last Saturday at Green Gables in Jennerstown, Pa., a lovely venue that is situated just about half way between Pitt Panthers and Nittany Lions territories.

Anyhow, this is just a sneak peek, so I have lots more to share in future posts, but for now, here are a few favorites from their day:

Pittsburgh Wedding Photographers at St. Edwards Catholic Church and Gianilli’s II: Part Two

Crissy and Jason’s ceremony was lovely and they were greeted by their guests outside with flurry of bubbles. After a few moments for some family portraits back in the sanctuary, they were whisked away by a horse-drawn carriage. This was a special gift to the couple from Crissy’s mother.

Pittsburgh Wedding Photographers at St. Edwards Catholic Church and Gianilli’s II: Part One

Congratulations to Crissy and Jason!  They said “I do” the Saturday before last at St. Edwards Catholic Church in Hermine, Pa.  It’s been a busy week or two so I have lots of photos to share and I’ll break it up into two parts.  Alex Jones second shot with me and we had a great day of it!  To start, Crissy was stunning in her gown.  Here are a few portraits from the sun room at her parents’ home.

Katie and John’s wedding slide show

Here’s a slideshow of Katie and John’s wedding. They wanted to be photographed with each other and their bridal party before the ceremony to save time later in their day. This worked out beautifully despite some light rain. We headed over to Hartwood Acres and spent about 40 minutes there. Then it was off to their ceremony at The Chadwick in Wexford, Pa. The ceremony was held inside, just down a hallway from the ballroom where their reception took place. It was a well-planned and lovely day – plus Katie and John were so much fun to work with. Gene Yuger of Photorise Photography second shot with me and Daisy Block assisted us. Gene photographed my wedding and this was our first time working together.  Some of his work can been seen in the slideshow.  The day couldn’t have been better – check out this quick slideshow for a glimpse into their fabulous day.
