Whew! I’m a bit behind on my blogging after a very busy month of May with lots and lots of shooting. It’s been great and I’ll have lots to show for it in the next few weeks, but now I’d like to focus on a beautiful wedding that took place at Phipps Conservatory. Stephanie and Ed were married in the Broderie room and it couldn’t have been lovelier! Between the lush greenery at Phipps and the beautiful blooms in Stephanie’s bouquet by Hepatica, I can’t think of the last time I saw such gorgeous flowers.

Did I mention they choreographed their first dance? It was a complete surprise to everyone. No one even knew they were taking ballroom lessons. Here are a few photos of Gina and Corey on the dance floor.
They worked out an awesome play list with their DJ and the dance floor was the place to be at this reception.
I think that is my favorite 1/40th of a second ever. I love how her dress fills the lower frame. If you love to dance, you know what it feels like in this moment.

What a fabulous wedding!Gina was a stunning bride and Corey was her chivalrous groom.Their ceremony and reception took place at the Hyeholde in Moon Township and every detail was brimming with style.I really like the use of corks to hold the guests place cards. The reception tables were draped in white linens and tables were adorned with wispy floral centerpieces in the beautiful Round Room of this unique restaurant. The design of the cake actually matched the floral centerpieces and it was as delicious as it was beautiful with a medley of flavors: chocolate cake, mint ganache and butter cream icing—to die for!Gina made a sign for out-of-town guests about the tradition of the cookie table at Pittsburgh weddings. She and Corey put their creative geniuses together and created a dazzling atmosphere for their wedding. Also, major props to the director of events and staff at Hyeholde, very professional indeed.
From their heartfelt vows to their first dance choreographed to Better Together by Jack Johnson, this couple really tugged on my heartstrings!
Gina and Corey, best wishes for a long and happy marriage and the many adventures that await in India!
More photos of Gina and Corey dancing to come!
